Here... 3.1.08: A leaked
document to WISemiPro.com from a trusted source reveals just how
deep and impressive the Burlington Blue Devils backfield is looking
for 2008. Joining 2007 IFL All-Star Eric Hansen in the
backfield will be fellow All-Star Jamie Martin, formerly of the
Franklin Outlaws. The Blue Devils also secured the services of
Adrian Davis, the Wisconsin high school record holder for season
yardage (3,422 in 2001). Davis comes to the Blue Devils after
a successful career at Northern Illinois University.

2.28.08: WSP.com is
first to report that Adam Kujath of the Wauwatosa Spartans has an
offer to play for the Rock River Raptors of the CIFL.
Kujath was a member of the IFL team that challenged the Raptors in
an exhibition math on Feb 23.

Wisconsin Wolfpack Open Tryouts
Saturday, March 1st
Franklin High School
9:00 am - 11:00 am
The tryout is free. There is no
cost involved. Players are asked to wear indoor shoes and
bring shoulder pads and helmets with, if possible. Prospective
players are encouraged to visit the Wolfpack's website and
sumbit a player
recruitment form prior to
attending.
Players will take part in speed test
(40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle), agility drills, and jumping
drills. Players will also go through position specific drills
as well as some limited one-on-one drills to demonstrate
athletic abilities. The Wolfpack coaching staff will be on hand
to immediately discuss your future with the team.
All players who are asked to join
the Wolfpack for the 2008 season will be asked to return to the
team's 2nd minicamp, which will be held on March 15th at the
Milwaukee County Sports Complex from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. This
minicamp is also being doubled-up as a coaching clinic, where
longtime UW-Whitewater offensive coordinator Stan Zweifel will
be on hand installing the 2008 Wolfpack offense.
2.25.08: The Racine Raiders will
hold a player tryout on Saturday, March 8, 2008, from noon to 3:00
p.m. at J.I. Case High School in Racine, Wisconsin. Players should
wear indoor workout clothing. This tryout is for all positions and
is free.
Participants will participate in speed, shuttle, agility, and
jumping drills. In addition, participants will be split up by
position and participate in fundamental position drills.
Case High School, 7345 Washington Avenue, is conveniently located
off of Highway 20 in Racine. (MAP)
The Racine Raiders are one of the most elite organizations in minor
league football and play all of their home games at Historic Horlick
Field in Racine. They are members of the largest football league in
the country, the
North American Football League (NAFL). In 2007, the Raiders
were the Great Lakes Division Champions.
In addition, nearly a dozen players from the Raiders' 2007 roster
are in camps with various indoor football teams. Agents and scouts
come to our games and our players get noticed.
